Default need a new Mass flow meter MFS

Hi to all, I took my car 2000 XJR to Jagpro,Bellmore NY and Martin told me that my check engine light was related to the Mass flow meter.

I actually replaced one(used)last year as had shifting problem, but Martin said that I had to install a brand new.My question -is it ok to replace an aftermarket one from autozone since the price quoted only around 150 , that is way cheaper or still OEM for jaguar rules?

Martin also said about the TPS issue, he said hopefully the issue was not on the
throttle-body, but perhaps just wiring/electronic

please share some thoughts with me

Hi - what TPS issue?

changing the mass air flow sensor can help if the car repeats codes related to lean/rich running etc, what is the car saying with regard to swapping MAFS? codes thrown?

Need more info!

Can you buy a cheap code reader and report back?

If you're still dreaming, buy these and bolt them on! you'll need discs Good luck

Those calipers are from an X350 XJR/ S type R and won't bolt up to the X308. I think he already made that mistake once.

I only looked at the bolt centres' on the front....oh well.

I do know where there's an X308 set, but don't know the condition, and shipping to the USA would be a bend over exercise...I can inquire Vincent?
