Default New Jag

Hey All,
Haven't been on here in a while. Sold my X300 and just bought a 98 x308! 93k miles and in great condition. Needs a new power steering pump and the sunroof doesn't work but those are the only issues. I'll def be posting mote often again.
Cheers!

This is the X350 and X358 forums. Nice car, but make sure the tensioners have been upgraded or you will lose the engine.

Congratulations on your latest Jaguar.

Received your "reported post" and have moved the thread from X350 to X308 forum.

Please let us know what the sunroof repair required, either here or in the "sunroof thread" if there is one and if that's what the forum rules dictate.

@Brewtech im hoping they were already replaced because it was serviced by a jag dealer its whole life but I'm going to check them this week. Luckily theres no noise coming from the engine at the moment. @john I'll let you know soon after I get into it. Just ordered thee 722.6 service kit yesterday and its arriving today im stoked to replace everything!

Take off the valve covers and look at your upper tensioners. I had a 2002 VDP a few years ago that gave out on me. I bought the car for $1500 running and sold it for $1200 once the tensioners broke. I wish I had kept that one.
