Default New Serpentine belt question

Hello,
I just bought a new serpentine belt from my local NAPA. this belt is a Goodyear, Gatorback,PolyV, Nascar performance belt. However, it is 1/8" narrower than the factory belt. the counter man really liked this belt. Is this belt ok?
thanks,
Dave

1/8” narrower sounds like it lacks 1 rib of the belt. On your 00’XJR, which belt in particular are you inquiring about being 1/8” narrower?

NAPA's reference charts are quite poor. If you can, take your belt in with you.

The supercharger belt has 8 ribs (8 PK 1327) and the accessories belt has 7 ribs (7 PK 2325). The difference in width of the two is just about 1/8". So, you have either received a 7-rib belt instead if 8-rig, or a 6-rib belt instead of 7-rib, depending on which belt you are talking about (??).
