1999 Jap import XJR

I will investigate the fuse box this weekend but I thought I’d ask on here if the problem may be bigger than a fuse change.

1. No indicator sound
2. No “lights on” icon on the instrumental cluster
3. No warning sound to inform the driver the lights are still on.
4. The front cigarette lighter wasn’t working, and neither were the folding mirrors. They now work?
5. The folding mirrors fold backwards when pressing the button!
6. Both heated seats don’t work. The passenger side button displays the red light, the drivers does not display any light.

 

Probably the speaker under the steering column or the wiring to it.

 

1. Blown speaker inside the upper steering cloumn shroud - access is 3 screws from underneath, kind of tricky as your lying on your back.
2. 5V twistloc bulb replacement. Removal of the IPK and install, around 10 or 11 bulbs in the IPK (instrument pack)
3. Same as number 1.
4. Possible fuse blown.
5. wing mirror common fault, as their deployed they need resetting in and out a few times. The internal stop breaks and they over rotate out.
6. Fuse? led blown. Don't work until ambient is something like 6 degrees anyway.
