If you introduced yourself here... https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...-intro-must-5/ ...I'm fairly sure it tells that you have to have certain amount of posts before doing attachments and PM's. But to post direct links, videos or pics, ..go to the top window your typing in and you'll see the list of options.

As for that car, sounds like someone ran the **** out of it and called it a day. That really sounds like the tensioners and chains have had their day in the sun and want out of the game. But after that, you'll probably find the next problem you can't hear over that racket. I recommend you find yourself a better candidate.

Sure sounds like the engine is done to me. Overheated, low on oil or milkshaked?

DMV Registration back fees, not registering the car since 2017, they accumulate. In order to re-register the same car in California those fees would need to be paid ($1500). If the car was registered out of state the California fees would wash....

I paid $1000 and drove it away, needs some attention to the front end but it drive great!! Now to start planning my LSx swap!!!!!

Congrats! I paid $900 more for mine. From the cars in the garage I'm guessing the seller took care of it. I usually don't like chrome wheels, but they look good on that car.

Yeah, not too bad...a good upholsterer should be able to fix those tears and re-dye they interior. That is a way better candidate than the last one.

My mistake. Thought that also explained the low price from a seller not concerned with a few extra $. Did you take advantage of some poor widow?

Very nice car. I found a source in England for replacement console lids at an extremely reasonable price. I bought one for my now-deceased '06 VDP. It was a perfect match on the colors. this link is for the kind I got. They might have one for the x308 models. https://www.ebay.com/itm/33340443590...xoChHYQAvD_BwE

I meant to add that the firm billed the items as new-old-stock, or at least that's my recollection. It was probably $80-90 including shipping, and it arrived in about a week. I was stunned. Of course, it might not cost that much to just have an upholstery shop recover what you have. I have no clue. Anyway, enjoy your new toy.
