Default Noise when exiting vehicle,

When I exit the driver's seat & step/hop out the car I get a loud creak emanating from the middle to the rear of the car, what suspension component could this be ?! I suspect corrosion or mud/debris from all the hurricane rain etc. I'm having the rear wheel bearing done this coming week & while they have it I want them to lube up whatever it up is underneath there.

Thanks

You might want to check and see if the carrier bearing mount for the drive shaft has come loose or is corroded.

Are you using the handbrake whilst parking? It could just be the vehicle weight shifting against the brakes as you exit, causing the load to differ.

Shop just called, rear springs were a bit compressed & a couple coils were in contact w/ each other. They resat them & dressed w/ anti-seize fluid, back quiet.
