Hey guys, are any of you running regular and putting some sort of octane booster in there to save the 30cents per gallon difference..? Just curious..

 

I use regular without any additives and it preforms fine but I never call upon the car to come anywhere near its potential.

The knock sensors will retard the spark advance to prevent any problems. You just do not have quite the HP potential that was designed into the engine.

 

I also run regular, most of the time. I have decided that octane boost is just about as expensive as the extra 20 to 30 cents per gallon.
