My 1999 xj8 has 97,000 miles on it. My mechanic says there is too much crankcase pressure and blows oil back into the oil filter box. The local Jag dealer says I need a new engine. That's what he told me in 2008 too. Didn't believe him then and it's rather doubtful now. Says the nikaseal coating is worn off and has low compression. Myfaithful mechanic says it has good compression. Where do I go from here. HELP.
