Oil Pan/Sump

Oil Pan/Sump
Not having a good time of it with my cats right now.
Completed the tensioner upgrade on my 1999/2000 XJR and next day noticed a bit of oil underneath. Monitored the oil level and for further leakage for a few days but could not see anything obvious (didn't want to go fully under the car with only axle stands). Anyway put it in to the garage thinking probably something loose. Turns out the sump pan has corroded to paper thin and has had it so replacement needed.
Now the hard part - getting one.
According to the mechanic it uses a sealant instead of a gasket but the only ones that I can find online seem to use a gasket ? (could be that someone has had it off before and not had a gasket available ?)
The only ones that seem to be available are Part no C2A1427 from SNGBarret.
According to there website this should fit my car (VIN SAJJPALF3CR866816) but I am concerned that the car had a warranty replacement engine from Jaguar in 2002. (with the problem that it does not have a "normal" engine number). Does anyone know if this part will fit my car ? and if so does it need a gasket or just sealant ?
Thanks for any help.
