It might have two usable heads? Looks like it wasn’t getting oil to the main bearings or rod bearings but from what I’m looking at the complete timing chain system looks good in the cylinder heads function like they should . They might be salvageable and don’t forget the transmission is things still functioning But I agree this particular motor is gone I think I’ll pull the locking bars and the pins out of the flywheel see if it makes any difference

If there was an oil starvation event, the engine may also have broken piston rings.

Find a used engine from a breaker's yard and update the primary and secondary timing chains, guides and tensioners before installing it in the vehicle.

I was just gonna ask that question so why did I have no pressure on one solid bank of piston’s. And the other side two cylinders were down to 35 psi Well now I say The cylinder heads might not be any good Either I knew what I was getting into when I bought this car but I have like 17 of these things I think now I have more parts

You have 17 of these cars? I’d rename your screen name to cat collector.

If you have the time, go ahead and pull the heads.

They are getting hard to come by and if I get one I almost want to save it for an XK8 because they have a little more resale

Maybe you should electrify one of them? Plenty of room for batteries & other modules.

I imagine a moonshine still explosion was a good source of lighting out in the mountains.

Yeah, but the problem is they don't last very long. That's why they call
it "white lightning".
