Sean, I'm not sure what currency you're talking, but low mileage very clean XJRs are pretty rare in the Canadian market.
I paid a reasonable amount, given that when the repairs are done, I'll have a nice XJR for a couple thousand under market value, but most importantly, it gives me a toy to tinker with, and an engine to rebuild, and that has been the goal all along.
I never wanted a car I could just start and drive, I wanted a project. An added bonus is that I have champagne tastes on a beer budget, and this car helps out in that regard as well.

gorgeous interior. sounds horrible when started but if you can fix it then nice find. im on the look for an xjr or xkr but they are not cheap and not easy to find here. the only times i see either in local online classifieds are asking too much. 10-15k for 98-02.
