Hi Community,

I’m chasing a gas smell from the rear, particularly when the windows or sunroof are down or when the AC is not blowing (I occasionally get the P0455 code) I’ve exhausted most of the tips on the forum and where to look for leaks. Can anyone point me in the right direction on where to hook up a smoke machine so I can hopefully find a leak?

Check the CCV. Lots of Service Actions for the XK about the valve but sedans use the same valve type so it might be worth looking into?

My leaks were dried out o-rings at cannisters.

 

Hi folks, thank you all for the suggestions. After another thorough inspection, I seem to have a hole in one of the tubes from the CCV. Will report back here after replacement to see if the gas smell goes away.
