Parked car was on E, now wont start. Need help please!
So as usual I would remind my wife to not let the car run on empty, but she didnt listen. After parking the car overnight the car wont start. We put at least two gallons of gas in the car still wont start. Also had noticed there was a little gas leak. Tried listening to fuel pump but not hearing nothing. Suggestions or help please??
I had a similar problem - my daughter left me no gas after her jaunts visiting friends while home from school.
Turns out had water in bottom of tank - had to get car towed, fuel lines cleared and replace fuel pump
Seems bad gas is not all that uncommon; even though that never happened to me before
Not sure if that is your issue or not, just similar facts to mine
Good luck

You can pull the fuel pump relay and run a jumper wire from the battery to the contacts at the relay (do a search here for which contact) and listen for the fuel pump. If you don't hear the pump you found the problem.
I put 36 years of marriage down to the fact my wife never drives my cars!
Running low or empty is a very quick way to burn out fuel pumps apart from dragging all the junk from the bottom of the tank into the filter with the risk of blocking it completely.
