Default 1995 XJR Cooling Fans Issue!

I'm Jake. Proud owner of a beautiful 95 XJR. It runs great and the engine has around 70,xxx on it. There are minor issues I am handling and I am stumped on some. I'll start with my main issue and that is the cooling fans. They do not trigger on and it looks like the wiring has been somewhat tampered with. I am good with wiring but I can't seem to get these to automatically turn on. The car gets hot from the issue so I have it rigged right now with a switch wired to Fuse #11 where I can switch the fans on and off. Idk where to start. Someone help? Thanks.

Update: I got the cooling fans out and got underneath the vehicle, noticed both fans had their black wire snipped & bypassed. They didn't work in the first place so maybe it's the relay and/or temp switch? Both purple wires weren't snipped. I think a Jag dealer modified this car seeing that dealership sticker under the hood by the radiator with some unidentified code. I am gonna try connecting the black wires back together and go from there.
