I need part number C2C37829 for my 2008 XJ8 (base model) with heated and cooled front seats. The part is the airbag sensor for the front passenger seat. Have tried dealers, junkyards and several aftermarket parts suppliers (SNG Barratt, etc.). Even tried Myton Automotive in the UK but they didn't reply. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Thanks Vern, but when I called the dealer they told me they did not have it in stock. Their website is run by a third party and was not updated. My Jaguar dealer in Atlanta checked on the dealer network and could not locate the part at any dealer. Thanks for your efforts though.

You can check with these folks, Jaguar Parts Specialist-New and Used Jaguar Parts for XJ6, XJ8, VDP, XJS, XK8, X Type, S Type, XJ12 ......, XJ8-VDP-XJR (04-09) - Interior & Upholstery - Page 2 - Jaguar Parts Specialist ...the whole seat is cheaper than the part if its what you need, give'm a ring.

To follow that same theme, you can go here, Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market ....should be able to find a number of yards in Atlanta. It doesn't spec that part (but may have a seat with it?), but maybe you can find a yard you haven't contacted? BTW...a yard won't tear a seat apart for you, you'll have to buy it and do it yourself or ask the yard if you can cut it out. Don't be afraid to haggle, if they want 300 offer 175...etc.

Thanks but the part is unique to the '08 and '09 models. I found a wrecked '09 and am in the process of arranging to buy the passenger seat.
