Default Picking Up XJR Tomorrow! Excited!

Tomorrow (assuming inspection goes well) I'll be picking up an 01 XJR, Titanium Grey over Black!
I'm pretty happy, every option except Nav, which is sad. I use Google Maps on my phone anyway, but it would've been nice to have it. Oh well.
Has front n rear heated seats, Alpine sound, CD Changer, PDC (or whatever Jag calls the parking assist), telescoping wheel.
Other than the Nav, were there any other features offered on the XJR that I don't know about? Just curious.
Oh yeah, sad part is the mileage - 128k :-( But it looks very mint from the pics I've seen. Price is right, $7150 including tax, title, reg, license, etc!

I wouldn't be so bummed about not having the navigation, it is pretty dated and has clumsy user interfacing. On my 01 XJR it was a $1700 option and it was the only option shown on my car but I think you could also get some sort of car phone or phone docking system.

Just be sure to look into the timing chain issues.

Hope it all works out and if so, congratulations!

congrats, def show us some pics when you get it home have you seen the tiff needell in the 2000 M5 vs jeremy clarkson in the 2000 XJR video? i think youd very much like it, esp considering your coming out of the 540. as chas said the navigation isnt much youll miss on that car, its nothing to write home about.

Woohoo. Flew up to SF on Saturday, and drove her back to San Diego on Sunday. Definitely a blast! The paint and interior look more like 20,000 miles than 128,000.

Pics!

Thanks guys, one owner, all original....everything. Regularly serviced - every 4k.

Basically, at 128k, it still looks nearly mint. Anyway, BMWon19s, yeah, I've seen it. Love it! BTW, you're on Bimmerfest, aren't you? I've seen you in OT sometimes, I think. I'm E36 Phantom.

I've used the Nav on another XJR, I know it sucks, but it's nice to have everything. Like I said, I use Google Maps on my phone connected to a BT GPS when I actually need it, and I'd likely use that most of the time. But it would be cool to have everything. Since all the wiring should be there I'm considering adding the GPS brain just for the hell of it....lol.

Oh, and chasman, I didn't notice your mention of the carphone docking before...I previously worked as a valet at a retirement condominium complex, and one of our residents had an XJ8 with the carphone....talk about a clumsy set up. Looked horribly tacky, and very bulky.

That is a nice color, I've only seen black (mine included) and silver onesaround here.

That is a hell of a deal for the money. How is the headliner?

Headliner is perfect. Very tight, even where it goes up in the rear.

Color is Titanium. It's by far my favorite.

Beautiful Jag and a great buy. Have fun with it, but watch out for lead in your feet.
