Have a slight pinging that i'm not sure where its coming from. Maybe supercharger?

Is it only when cold? The tensioner pulley can make that noise- mine does.

 

Cold, hot... luke warm.. doesn't matter. That pinging/ticking is consistent and increases as the revs do.

I would not think that pinging or ticking would be consistent with a pulley issue. All the pulleys that I've heard making noises were from bearings in the pulleys going out. It's either a chirpy type noise, a squeaky noise or a rattling chirpy or just plain out sqealing leading you to think belt problem, but when it all comes to a screeching halt you know for sure its that. Ticking can be something else especially if its increasing with engine revs. Start checking other stuff too!
