Power window issue
I am the new owner of a 98 xj8.
The power window will not operate from the drivers side but will work from all other doors.I assume it is the control panel on the drivers door. Could there be another answer?

First disconnect the battery, then reconnect to clear the SCP network. Sometimes this works to get the switchpack operating again.
I have replaced dozens of switchpacks after customers had the driver's door window tinted. I guess water is used in the process and damaged the switch assy when it flooded the circuits. Rain also damages the switchpack if the window is left open.
