Default Problem With Seat Rail Mount..."Blind Nut" Missing!!

Drivers seat front right "blind nut" went missing. Took the bolt out from the seat rail to pull the seat. Now there is just a big hole where the nut used to be. So no threads to put the bolt back in now.

The nut is welded (or should be) to the back of the floor board, so all you can see are the threads. In which you put the bolt to secure the seat rails to the floor. Well, as I said...there is just a big hole there now, no threads. The seat rocks since there is nothing to secure that side down.

Anyone ever have this issue? And is there a fix??

Exact same problem. Exact same nut.

If you are lucky, it fell off and has slipped into the cavity.

Fish it out and clip back on. It is a clip on affair, not welded.

Confirm it is a clip, not a welded nut.

My clip had moved sidewards under the carpet, and I was able to retrieve it once I lifted the seat a bit (both rails disconnected allows seat to tilt backwards).
You might be lucky.

Most auto parts stores or Sears sell a magnetic wand in the tool shop. Should be the right tool to fish the nut from where it is hiding.

You guys say that it is a clip on type nut and it is able to be fished out. How do you reclip it if it is in the hole? I have a magnetic pick up tool, but I don't think I can fish anything out of that hole. Maybe I need to remove the seat again and relook at everything.
