Purge valve pipe 2001 XJR snapped off
While attempting to replace 'the "Octopus' hose on my '01 XJR I broke what I believe in the Purge Valve Pipe that is connected to the rear of engine and appears to run under the supercharger. The pipe or hose is ribbed, black, and approximately 3/8" in diameter and has what looks like to be rapped in heat resistant cloth and possibly tin foil originally. It looks like the connection is similar to the ones on the coolant reservoir tank though I can't be sure. I tried to rig it with by inserting a smaller IO flange but I don't thing that worked. After starting the car I got a "restricted Performance" warning and when I checked the code it was a P0332 (Knock Sensor 2 Circuit Low Input -Bank 2). Could this be the result of the broken pipe? If so how difficult is the fix, where can I get this part, and what is the part number. The pipe seems to run under the supercharger and connect on the front left valve cover.
The detailed objects are circled in skinny yellow. Hard to see. Sorry!
