Q: differential breather vent thread size
They are metric and cost about $20.00 new so I never care what the thread pitch is, I just put in a new one when a customer diff seal leaks and the vent sticks closed.
They have a fine thread pitch. (possibly 10 X 1.00mm)
I just threw one in the trash a week ago, but I never measured it.

Aw shucks.
I'll have a look at the 10x1 that you mentioned and see how close it is. I'm not trying to cheap out on a new one though. I just want to convert to a different arrangement.
Anyone else?
