Hey guys, I have a '98 XJR and I didn't get an owners manual with it so I don't know much about some of the features. There are 2 buttons near the gear selecter. Onehas a little picture of an RPM Gauge on it and the other has an "S". I figured the S was some sort of sport mode when it changes gear ratios and I thought the little gauge one was overdrive but it doesn't seem to do anything when it's on. Can someone tell me exactly what they do? I've had them both on since I got the car 2 years ago.

 

the one with the rpm gauge is to enable the cruise control function and the s is for sport mode which
means the gears will take longer to shift so you can get more power
