radio isnt sending sound to my speakers
Hello I have a 1998 jag xj8L with the Harmon kardon system the LCDs all work for my head unit, my antenna mast is broken off but I can hear the motor for it work I'll just need a new mast, all my fuses have been replaced and are brand spankin new. Im trying to get ideas on what might be the cause all ideas and solutions are welcome.
Well it's connected correctly in the back of the head unit the guy who I bought it from said it worked before he got a jump start from some one the steering wheel controls work fine but the volume knob acts wonky. I don't know how to check the amp to speaker wiring or amp to head unit but if it's the amp wouldn't the speakers just be quieter
I had the same issue. My situtation ended up being a bad rear window speaker. Was shorting some how, It had burned speaker wire connectors. When I unplugged the speaker radio started working fine. Check your speaker connections.
Yea I looked back there only to find that the previous owner had cut the wires to that speaker so it will probably never work again but thanks for the Idea I will check all my speakers to see if there connected.
I can't my volume knob acts crazy sometimes it skip volume levels like 3 to 5 instead of 3,4,5, and the same with my fader/balance but I'll try it
