My radio is not working so I need a new one, I am looking to purchase a radio /dash cam with back up ,front camera and bluetooth.
Can you someone recommends one ? According to the radio installer I will also need: A dash kit installer a writing harness and a control adapter because do wanna use my string wheel command
Please keep in mind that I would like to have a front and rear camera .My car is a 2003 SuperV8

Are you a competent DIY'r or are you looking to get a radio shop to do it for you?

reason I ask is radio shops can do a basic "off the shelf" setup using the original location, but as the radio sits behind the gear lever this can be less than idea.

I had planned to leave my standard radio in place, instead just hacking into the audio. Then I wanted to install a new 10.25" widescreen/touchscreen with Android, mounted at the top of the dash. I just need to work out a way of installing it without having to cut the dash, and I am thinking some brackets that sit behind the wood trim would do the trick.

 

I am not very DIY kinda guy ... unfortunately . I have seen people installing those 10 "screens I m thinking about it

 

You only have a 9"w x 7"h space that is made for a single DIN. You really only have a 7" x 7" to work with and those screens are being put in X & S-Types. A 308 is a different cat, its 90's Tech, and you'd have to interface the wiring. If you're not a DYI'er then this isn't for you.

The orange tape you see is for marking the wiring, the plug you see is what I built and put in to run to the boot.

Here's just your radio, don't know which one you have, but here's both schematics and this is the easy part. The climate control and dash modifications are a whole different kettle of fish.
