Yeah, it was working fine, then one day I drove off and a couple minutes down the road the main door speakers sound went out. Was told that was amp failure, so replaced it and still the same.

 

The boards cold solder joints in the unit are known to let go. But you will need to trace those leads. Initially I would remove the door card and check for power at the connector. Then trace back to the CD, NAV and AMP. Barring which you may or may not have. You could take the head unit out and have it tested at a shop. As for that fact, they could test the other equipment there as well.

Your scenario is somewhat vague, because of the numerous possible issues that could be the reason for the loss of sound.

Btw, I'm surprised someone said it was the amp, they are quite reliable...more so than the head unit.

 

Are the rear door main speakers and tweeters (behind the door opening lever bowl) working? Move the "fader" on the head unit to rear speakers to better hear what is working and what not working at the rear. If you have sound from the rear door speakers, move the "balance" max left and max right to listen to each door sound separately.

As to the front speakers, it is possible that one door speaker failed some time much earlier but you did not notice and that now the working one also failed causing no mid-bass sound at the front.
