Rear A-Frame bushing bolt
Guess what? During the very last stages of refitting my refurbished back axle assembly, I sheared the long bolt that goes through the A-Frame 'big' bush up into the conical spigot!!!!
Anyone know where I can get a replacement bolt in the UK?
Gotta drill the old one out first....
Edited to say I have found the part number (BH11218BP) - Rimmer Bros have them I think....

Jaguar usually... or - I take the bolt to my local bolt seller and get a high tensile cap head version, or a full set and assemble with a touch of copperslip after using a thread chaser on stuff like that
who are rimmer bros?
did it cross thread? what a bummer...

Didn't think of Jaguar dealer!! Tend to stay away from dealers, but there is one in Preston so will ring them in the morning...need the bolt desperately - should have been back on the road tomorrow...and will have a look for bolt shops - seems a rather unusual bolt, shortish plain shank and a long thread, but you never know....
Just a tight thread....ran the bolt in and out a couple of times with WD40, coppaslip etc, think there was some loctite in the thread which I couldn't get out. Only one turn left to tighten too....the air was blue!
Rimmer Brothers down near Lincoln - they do Triumph, Land Rover etc, and do some Jaguar stuff now too.
