Default Rear usb port / replace cigar lighter

Hey everyone. Cool mod I did here. Matbe it has been done before. I made some modifications to the rear cigar lighter and replaced with usb ports to charge cells, etc.
First, I removed the screws that held in the inner console, and cover. Then you have access to the unit. It has 2 clips at the top, and slides out.
Next, I wrangled the lighter socket out. Unplug the element and the light. Take off the little light first, then gently pry the element out. Mine didnt work anyhow, just kept blowing fuses. It fell apart after I unplugged it anyhow.
The hole for the element measures 10mm. The usb socket is 13mm. Get the dremel out, and carefully open the hole up 3mm. I cut away some of the cigar element support area with a dremel cutting wheel. Carefully.
I found a 1 inch circlip at the hardware store. Pushed the usb socket through the widened hole, and get clip all the way down. Doesnt budge at all!
I will probably cut the old pitail off, and just use some spade connectors. I will post that tomorrow. I want to do the same with the front cigar lighter. I already have the usb port. How do you get access to it? How is the center cover removed? Clips?

Ok! Got the center console out, and then removed front cigar lighter housing. Popped the old element out, and went at it with the dremel. Pretty easy. I cut off the old pigtails and just used spade connectors. Reassemble.
