The right and left door panels on our 01 VDP have a material in the lower section that has simply fallen off the door panel and gotten lost.
Material I need to replace
Does anyone know where I can source this material? I assume I can remove the panel and just glue the new material back on. I believe we have the light color leather interior available that year.
I believe it's just headliner material. The top of the pocket where it turns to faux leather is just sewn to it. Any reputable upholstery shop should be able to recover it pretty easily. I know with the door panel removed, that pocket can be unfastened from the back of the panel.
