Default Resivor tank on 2006 XJ8 leaking.

Hello new to forum and have been reading similar threads on this subject. Top hose nipple cracked and tank needed to be replaced. Worked through all the challenges to get the old tank out and new in. All was going well until attaching bottom hose on to tank. I put it on but every time it leaks on bottom of fitting. Been careful with the wire clamp and it looks like every thing is good but still leaks. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

This forum is for XJ8s through 2003; you’ll find better information on the X350 forum for your car. Thanks and good luck.

put the clip in the closed position, lube the o-rings and make sure it clicks.

Thanks for the replies, I will post in that area from now on. I did put clamp on first and then seat it. Thought I heard a click but I did not use any lube for the o rings. Thanks
