I wired a backup camera through the car which turned out to be a big project, having to remove rear seats and front passenger seat. Now I'm trying to figure out which wires are for the reverse so I can connect my backup camera. I've attached a picture to show where I'm at. Does anyone know which colors are which? I've found some wiring diagrams online but none have the wiring I'm looking at.
I believe it is the green wire. The easiest way to verify is start the vehicle shift to reverse, shut off engine and turn ignition back to on, and check the green wire for voltage with a multi-meter. Leave one side plugged in to verify the reverse lamp is lit.
Yellow wire is the reverse light for a jaguar xj8 2000) this is the same layout

Are you using the reverse lead just to inform the camera it's in reverse? The one I installed in my 911 had a lead to tell the camera you're in reverse and another to power the camera. If you power the camera with the same lead you may burn out the module. On mine, the screen turns on automatically when in reverse and can also activate when driving in forward.
