Hi, has anybody had any success installing a reversing camera that uses the Sat Nav screen ? without taking out a second mortgage. Very grateful for any help. Martin.

 

As I have said on other sites, A video interface is all that is required(plus NTSC camera) splice into wires at back of DVD in boot(trunk) and away you go! Interface from here - Universal RGB Video Interface. Car Multimedia Adapter Any queries just ask!!

Hi Martin,
I get around!! The wiring is not as daunting as it first looks, lots of wires for the interface we do not need for the jag! It just comes down to -
1/ 12v and earth for power
2/ Red/green/blue & sync at back of DVD unit
3/ Trigger wire for camera input - Green/Black from reverse sensor module(camera power from there also)
And thats it!!!
