Default Which rims do you prefer?

The top pic in each of these show the original rims.
The bottom pic in each of these are rims I'm thinking about getting. Which do you prefer? Or, do you recommend others & if so, which ones?

I am a fan of the asteroids personally. I also really like the look of the penta star rims (not pictured) from the earlier xjr's. I alternate both sets on my car.

FYI, the Asteroids you've shown (second pics, as everyone's mentioned), are 18", so they are actually slightly bigger than you've shown.

As per every 2000+ XJR, they do look great though

Almost makes me sad that I'll be taking mine off

I love my chromed asteroids. I have one I can't get into balance though. It must be out of round beyond what wheel weights can fix. Does anyone happen to know where I can buy a chromed asteroid? Or one that isn't chromed and I can have it chromed.

I thought about getting a set of asteroids but, a set of XJR 💯 wheels practically fell into my lap (without even looking for them) and realized how much nicer they were. I'm getting them refurbished and will be on my 98' R soon with new Michelins.

Do you have pix of both on your car and if so can you share them here?

I'm really into the Milan rims and the BBS Winter Wheels. Well, but I don't have any choice anyway since I got the Brembo's.

If it wouldn't be necessary to adjust the wheel arch and if they wouldn't spoil the ride comfort (which they do), I'd love to have the 20" BBS Perseus rims. But in my mind, they're quite too big for the x308's and/or x100's.

I believe the Perseus came in 19" as well. But they're even less common
