Can anyone tell me if there is a roof rack for the Sovereign(X308)? If so, I am interested in procuring one in the Netherlands! Any ideas?

 

Not sure about a roof rack, but I believe there was a boot rack and again, not sure, but believe it a Euro option, could include the Aussie's? So I'd peruse ebay.uk and the like.

 

OEM roof rack is JLM11986 or aftermarket Thule 300 tower & rack system.

 

Looking for roof rack for my XJ8. Neither OEM nor Thule 300 seem to be available. Does anyone have another proven suggestion?

got mine from local auction portal for close to nothing, generic stuff 140cm length with type of fixing for rain gutter should work, plenty of gutter roof racks on ebay just choose right length and height for you, mine has same mount as one from amazon you linked

I am married to google :-) Saw this one, it's "Appears to be missing 2 end caps and key set"...

 

End caps are a dime a dozen & those keys are primitive @ best lol.

 

I placed on my XJ8 VDP 50” roof racks with bicycle bars and surf pads. And it’s a perfect car for my 8ft surf 🏄‍♀️

 

Yep, I ended up getting those simple ones from amazon... work well!

 

I kinda have a love/hate relationship with resurrecting old threads, and I guess this is a "love" kinda day!

All - I just picked up a set of these used on FB Marketplace. Can anyone give me any tips on installing on my XJR? From my first few looks it appears that all I have to latch on to is the chrome trim, rather than a sturdier gutter. Anyone have any insights?
