Default Round Button in the rear seat area...what does it do?

I have a 2008 XJ8L and in the back seat there is a control panel between the [front] seats facing back ward that has a vent, door lock button, power port and a MYSTERY BUTTON. It is round, chrome and appears to do nothing. Can anyone share what it does?

I have a cigarette lighter close to those buttons. Maybe the mystery button is your cigarette lighter? It will pop out, and be ready to use if you push it.

You have to be especially determined to find any reference to it in the Driver's Handbook.

I'd bet it's a cigar lighter, maybe try pulling it out?
