Sad Story
My late brother passed away last year. He was Jaguar Master Mechanic and started working on Jaguar since 1981. He started working for a private shop that specialized on rare Jags. He then worked for Jaguar dealer until he passed away.
I visited my late brother last year right before he passed away. His house had at least three garages full of Jaguar parts. There were enough jaguars parts to put together at least three jaguars and more. Apparently , he purchased broke down Jaguars (XJ6, XJR, XJ8, XJS) on the cheap and removed all the good parts. There were at least four Jaguar shells at the time of my visit.
I just contacted my relative in California today and found out that his wife contacted people that haul trash and got rid of all of his Jaguar's parts collection. All went to scrap yard for metal recycling as told by the haulers.
The sister in law had to paid for them to haul away.
My brother's plan was to open a private Jaguar repair shop when he hits 60. He was the one that gave me the Jaguar's bug.
I migrated to the US in early 80s and he picked me up in a Jaguar. He got me hooked on the first time riding a Jag.

Dear annamiata,
That truly is a sad story. I'm sorry for the loss of your brother, and the loss of his collection of Jaguar parts only adds to the sorrow.
Blessings,
Don
