Arrow Seat Problems

I have been a long time Jaguar owner, some from the showroom and some used. We moved from Fort Lauderdale FL to the beautiful area of Northeast Tennessee. The people are wonderful here.
One of our cars (a 1998 Chamagne XJ8L) is being transported here from Florida tomorrow and I am trying to locate a respectable service person to handle this cat.
I would like to have her repainted and have some minor issues repaired. One year after I bought her, I had a total engine failure (meltdown) and had the Fort Lauderdale dealer install a brand new engine, the $$$ amount was mind boggling...lol. Thank goodness I had a XK8 sitting in my driveway!!! so I was not without transportation. Well like many other posters on here... I have had all of the same issues that have been repaired, ie; throttle body, etc... as you can imagine, I have put over $25,000 bucks in repairs into her and now will never part with her...

I have a question for anyone here, when you open the drivers door the wheel and side mirrors retract but the seat does not. When you shut the door the wheel and mirrors do go back to their memory position. The seat does function perfectly by using the controls, even the heat works. My question is, do I need to replace the module in the door or the seat?

Thanks to everbody, what a GREAT and wonderful forum this is.
Joel
