Should both cooling fans come on when I use the AC

Trying to track down my air condition problems and noticed that only 1 fan spins when I put the AC on.

Should they both be on?

The slow mode kicks both fans on at 174psi A/C pressure, fast mode (both fans again, but full speed) kicks in at 326psi. If A/C high-side pressures are below 174 (which would happen if outside temps are relatively cool), both fans should never run. I would suspect that one of your fans is inoperative.
