Default Smoky Foolishness

Got the nerve last night to finally stomp the go pedal turning left from a stop sign. Turned off traction control and engaged sport mode. I said hold on to my passenger and all hell broke loose. Ba-ba-ba-ba as the howling engine bounced off the rev limiter and watched two enormous clouds of smoke in the mirror as we tore down the street. I feel foolish/guilty for it all, but if you own an XJR, could it be a right of passage?

I would say it perfectly reasonable as long as you can afford tires. It seems like these cars eat a set of tires under reasonable driving protocols in about 35,000 miles

don't know about a rite of passage, but it's pretty darn hard to resist, especially when next to some guy trying to impress his girlfriend with his ride. Juvenile of me I know...
