I just sold my 2002 XJ8, and am now a single Jaguar owner with a 1976 XJC. I had the car two years and looking back enjoyed the times it was on the road, but experienced too many breakdowns and never was able to trust it on a long journey.
On the upside it was comfortable and rapid, on the flip side it was expensive and unreliable. I will miss it's shape and grace.
I bought a 530i of the same year as a replacement and am enjoying the solid German engineering... I think the BMW is a 'better' car but already miss the stylish elegance of the big cat.
