Hi I put this in the general Forum for my car but thought it might be useful to put it here as well as I'm in the UK. The air con on my XJ8 isn't working. I took it to an air con 'specialist' who said that the condenser (MNC 7390AC)and 'hose 5' (MNC 7340BF) need replacing but they couldn't find the parts. It seems that I can get a replacement condenser from ebay at a decent price (albeit a pattern part which is always a gamble!) but I cant find a replacement hose anywhere. I've found a second hand hose but who knows how good that will be! I'd really just like to give it to someone and get it back fixed and running. Any recommendations for a garage or a place to get the parts would be welcome. Steve

I can only find new OE Jaguar hoses available in the US and listed on ebay:

It's unobtainable in Europe (as you know) and an expensive part. The discount on list price covers shipping and import charges so you're unlikely to find a better deal on a new part.
