Someone buy this fixer upper please or I will.
Used and Salvage Auction for 2001 JAGUAR XJR | VIN: SAJDA15BX1MF27511&
I think it's a steal. I ran a carfax on this car and it's got 148k miles.
It's the color I like, 2001 and has the wheels I like on there.
I'd pick it up, but since I have 4 Jags already my fiance said she's kicking me out if I buy another one.

Even with shipping and auction fees it would come to about a grand.
there's about 3 parts from that car that'd pay for itself....no brainer - do we know what's up with it Adam?
I'm in Michigan (so only maybe 2-3 hours away) and own a Carnival Red XJR that has 8/10 condition seats that I was going to reskin to like brand new. I could buy that car, fix it up, put my old XJR seat skins on(what it has looks crap), do about $1k in repairs and routine maintenance, and make this thing an excellent daily driver to give to my dad.
I've done detailing before (still do just not for money, just my stuff) and have all the tools, so with maybe 20-30 hours of TLC between the mechanical and cosmetic I could have a really nice ride.
This is tempting...
There is probably a good 2 days worth of work removing the cheap chrome on this car

Awesome. Post pics and progress here.
I really wanted the car but my significant other finally put her foot down. With 9 cars of which 4 are projects I can't blame her.
I'm glad it went into a hands of an enthusiast.

I have a lot of serviceable used parts from my 1998 XJR, so posting up a build thread on this site you may be able to get cheaper parts from us members if and when you need them!
I just bought a complete hub on ebay because I found my spindle was quite damaged when I was doing a wheel bearing (used just that part out of new assembly, have brake shield, ABS sensor and such extra). I have a lot of little extra parts like that around, and I'm guessing others do too.
