Hi guys-
I could use some help here.
Last week my xj8 threw the serpentine belt.
And when it did, I noticed the the temp shot up for a moment.
At least that's when I noticed it.
Then it went down to normal.
I knew something was wrong and I could see water trailing behind me. I was just a couple of block from home so I drove it home.
The crank pulley center bolt had come lose and allowed the pulley to come loose.
I put some lock tight on it and re-tightened it.
I then went hunting for the coolant leak.
There is a bunch of hoses under the coolant filler tank and a plastic 'T' that has a small hose that goes to the throttle body (I think) That hose the the nipple on that 'T' broke off. There is another hose that is split.
It looks like I'm taking the intake off again and replacing a bunch of hoses behind the engine.
Can anyone shoe me the correct 'Heater hose grouping of hose that goes back there.
I searched for '98 XJ8 coolant hoses, but I think I'm just seeing XK hose set ups.
Having been stung before thinking I'm buying the correct part only to find, I haven't, I'd like to avoid that again.
If I've done it correctly, I think that I've attached images of the correct hose group. Can anyone verify this?
-Thanks.

Those are the hose assembly drawings I used for ordering hoses for my 98XJ8 from SNG Barratt. I also changed the intake manifold gaswkets for new ones when I did my hoses.
Sooooo, I finally got the hoses in and replaced the split has assembly with the new one.
However, before I connect with last connector, I just want to make sure I understand what I'm looking at.
The photo with the red circle shows the connector on the passenger side of the engine bay just underneath the throttle body.
I put the hose assembly in and connected everything else, but there is a green plastic 'ring' on this connector that was not on the original.
I had to destroy the original one to get it off the metal tube that bolts to the side of the throttle body.
Is this ring supposed to be there or is it something that gets removed and then discarded?
Thanks-

The green ring that is on the connector for the passenger side (usa) is just there for packaging, it comes off before install. Make sure that connector seats all the way and you push the ring on to hold it in place
Maybe I just don't have it on far enough. I've pushed into on far enough to go over the lip on the metal pipe and reinstalled the green plastic locking ring, but I can still separate it if I pull on it.

I broke the connector trying to get it on.
So, I grabbed a knife and cut the whole thing off.
one 50 cent hose clamp and 1 minute later, problem solved.
I'm more annoyed that I broke a new part, but it's good to go.
-Thanks guys-
