I just purchased a 1999 XJ8 that had no drivers side window function and auto closing of sunroof, corrected by removing battery ground for ten minutes then reconnect. However, the drivers side seat and stearing column will not adjust, mirrors too, and I'm wondering if column and seat and mirrors are all related and if to fix seat will fix column as well. I have read here that seat adjust and mirrors are related, may be no power or ground and if not then switch or control module which I plan to investigate but with limited knowledge, but I'm wondering if to fix seat and mirrors will this also fix column. Stearing column will move with memory to a pre programed location but not adjust otherwise by knobs..

Any insight, instruction or comments for a new guy would be greatly appreciated.
