Have soon read all internet pages concerning the radio (Alpin) in the xj 2000 and hardly not find anything that I want to know, so I now ask the question strait;
Is there no possibility to attached a ipod / or usb connection to the radio unit without disconnecting the cd changer?
Has anyone tryed the casset-conection?

You can tap into the cd player with a Motorola t605 and run the 3.5mm out back into the CD player. Put in a CD with silent .wav files and you are good to go! The t605 can also be connected to the phone wiring under the armrest for cel phone connection.

(oversimplified, but basically how you can get the job done)

is there maybe some MP3 player which would connect instead of the CD changer? It would solve my issues as well...

This is about as plug'n'play as they get: iP-JAGCD iPod Adapter for Select Jaguar with CD Auto Changer :: iPod Adapters & Interfaces.

More about it here: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...e5/#post529021.
