Stero & Navigation
So, whilst reading through the audio handbook, I noticed that it has a page for navigation, and sure enough in the car there is a NAV button, I am curious to know, was that standard?
If no, how do I know if it is fitted or not?
How do I use it?
And of course the $65,000 question, does it actually work?

I'm not an expert but there is one very easy way that might let you know. While sitting still, push the button
otherwise, in mine, there's a nice shiny black box labeled navigation in the drivers side of the trunk. I dunno if that's only a location for certain options or if all nav is the same. I have an 03 XJR, and cassette in dash, cd changer in the trunk and the nav brains are right there too. Two inch screen below the cassette is used for the nav, but admittedly I haven't tried to actually route anywhere, I use my phone for that.

If you have navigation, there'll be another box in the trunk, below the CD changer, that takes the nav DVD.
The system does work if you have it, but the newest available maps are now 13 years old, so that does limit its usefulness.
