Default Stupid Question about Rear Window Antenna

I am considering buying another 2002 XJ8.

In the picture below you can see the cell phone antenna at the top of the rear window.

Do those type antennae remove easily? Is there something drilled thru the glass?

Thanks,

Robert

No drilling through the glass. Mine bothered me too, and I used a plastic spatula to take it off. When it came off, I found out that the windows were tinted AFTER the antenna instalation (duh!), so an unsightly, untinted square revieled itself, and made the car look like crap. Since I didn't want to strip the tint, and redo it, I put the antenna back!

Robert -- ask Jeremy to remove it -- he took mine off, no questions asked and you can't even tell it was there.

I still have the microphone by the overhead console, though.
