Hi guys. I have noticed some blow through from my supercharger duct seals, and after some reading i have come to believe this is a part that was suceptable to problems... I am also under the impression that a new version of the kit is available that solves the previous problems... my Q's:


1. Is this the upgraded newer version? Supercharger Duct Seal kit - BPK30357 | Jaguar XJ8 X308 - XJR, Jaguar XK8 - XKR | Jaguar | British Parts UK


2. Is there an easy way to install the kit?


3. will i need any extra parts? My mechanic tells me i should also buy a top plenum cover gasket seal because this will need to come off to install the new duct seals and plates...?


4. Does anyone know of a cheaper place to buy the kit? Im in Australia...

Yes, that is the upgraded kit.
The plenum seal is in the kit ( the big square gasket the bolts are in )
Its not a hard job

 

Perfect. Just what I needed to hear. Thanks Andrew! Am i likely to find the part cheaper anywhere else? Anyone have any tips for sites I should check before purchasing from British Parts? The kit won't be in stock until end of Feb so I have time... Again, thanks for all help.
