Switching cars

I'm in the market for a new car and the xjr caught my attention. Ive looked around on the forum and noticed that there arent that many people that have modified their cars, even though the car as great potential. I noticed that Paramount Performance carries headers for the xj series and labels them as "v8 racing manifolds". I found it strange that they didn't carry the same product for the STR, but maybe im just not familiar enough with the design of each car.
Anyone have any experience with this company or recommend a certain part over others? I'm looking for more of a cruising car but I cant help myself from looking at aftermarket parts available.

If aftermarket entertainment is a significant objective you might want to consider some other car. There is just not much available and a lot of the 'performance' things, like exhaust systems, have little noticeable affect.
There is not much market for these cars. There are things you can do but to gain significant #s you will have to spend greatly for it.
Just look at it this way. Used XJRs, STRs, and XKRs are just begining to enter the average persons price range. They were not cheap cars when new and also carried the pre 90s Jaguar reputation. Meaning you either bought one because you loved the brand regardless, or you wanted to say "I own a Jaguar". Just now are people able to get their hands on a clean used R model for prices of a new mustang or camaro. Im sure the market will pick up as the cars age, but for now there are few things and they cost $$$$ money.
