On my 2001 XJR the third brake light came unglued from the rear windshield, what is the best glue to use in reattaching it. Thanks Lou

 

Use metal to plastic epoxy. Just a very small amount. Clean the glass, leave the metal tabs in place in the holder, just a little epoxy on the metal tabs and then press in place carefully. The plastic in the holder and in the cover is extremely fragile.replace any burnt out bulbs first. You will need to mix the epoxy and hold everything in place for a minute or so.

I found that double-sided tape and glue didn't work: would not handle the weight of the light fixture.
