Default Those Dirty Rats!!

A few weeks ago, i went out to my 2003 XJ8 to start it up and move it out of the drive to get it smogged and renew my registration. It had been sitting for several weeks. I noticed immediately that there was no AC and it was toasty inside the car. Opening the hood i found that rats had got into the engine bay and built a nest, there was shredded under hood liner and poop everywhere. That's when I noticed that they had chewed through the AC rubber line on the passenger side of the car and vented all the refrigerant to the atmosphere. I was able to find a used AC hose on Ebay and I need to fit it before i can get the system recharged.

The other problems i noticed are that the headlights only work on high beam, the low beam is out, all the fuses and relays all seem to be fine. I've also discovered that the windshield washer is no longer working and the reverse beepers no longer work either. All of these things were perfect before. I suspect the rodent invasion chewed on some wiring too.

What i hoping to find is a layout of the electrical wiring, i.e. how it is routed within the car, where the cabling goes under the hood area. I have the schematic which gives the electrical block diagram which will help me identify wire colors etc but i'd like to narrow down the areas i need to look at.

Is anyone aware of a wiring layout for a 2003 X308?

thanks

The electrical manual is posted somwhere on the site. Maybe in stickies on top of page.
I bought mine cheap because running in restricted mode. A rodent had chewed through a knock sensor lead. Quick and easy fix.
